This was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a while. Both Teng Shen and Ma Li worked so well together playing con artist. But because their son was the target, it was such a refreshing take.
The were so many well written hijinks that really caught me off guard. The subplot involving Zhang Zi Dong was such a delight that I thought he stole all his scenes, and that's no small feat because Teng was already so good.
My only issue, and a big one, was the way it ended. I thought the writers had no idea how to end the movie and went with the very silly ending; which I didn't appreciate. I think if they had forgo the need for humour there and just went with a more heartfelt and emotional ending, that would have been a better outcome.
