I thought the ending of the movie was not particularly strong but, overall, it's still a very good movie. Much better than Ari Aster's previous outings, Midsommer and Beau Is Afraid.
Pedro Pascal and Joaquin Phoenix's scenes were really good when they were together; which was why when it was just Phoneix later on, I wasn't sure if it would still be as engaging.
But the absurdity and stupidity of the characters made it all still entertaining and funny to watch.
