[Review] Eternity (7/10)

Elizabeth Olsen carried this movie herself. The other two gentlemen were not effective.

I thought Miles Teller was a miscast, or he just didn't care about this and half-assed his way through. I didn't find his acting any good at all.

Callum Turner as well was just alright. Characters around him kept calling him perfect but nothing about him would have suggested that. He actually looked quite fierce when angry and I would actually be afraid of him.

However, two characters that worked very well, portrayed by John Early and Da'Vine Joy Randolph, saved whatever chemistry that was lacking with the leads. Their humour were onpoint, especially Randolph's, "Mmhmm".

However, this movie and A Big Bold Beautiful Journey both represented the new age kind of romantic comedy and I'm glad that they exist because as representatives of the genre they were both quite good.
