There seems to be less action than I remember from the first one, unless I remembered wrong?
And definitely less humour. I thought the best addition was Elijah Wood but there wasn't a lot for him to do. Kathryn Newton is always good, but this time with the attention split between her and Samara Weaving; and as long as the running time was, there was just not enough focus between the fights, the different families, and the relationship between the two sisters.
As the story got bigger now, everything in it became a bit more mediocre. The original movie was still the stronger one.
