Clash Of The Titans (5/10)

The title was "Clash Of The Titans". But when were there any titans clashing?The beginning started off slow. It was really well into the middle before things started to happen. A movie like this should have been like 300. Full on action from start to finish. But no, the creators took their time developing a story for Sam Worthington's character - which was unnecessarily too long. It didn't help the movie one bit.I think the best sequence was at Medusa's lair. Medusa was at least both beautiful and scary, making her intriguing. And that's when people started dying.But the romance was horribly done. I cringed throughout that sequence, screaming in my head at the screen for them not to "happen". Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos both looked gorgeous but they weren't properly written in. Liam Neeson and Ralph Feinnes both looked foolish as they tried to play Gods. Those shiny armour and the set design were ridiculous.And the worst part was the final battle which was just anti-climactic. What a waste of everything that happened before that. And I thought that was the worst part but no, the worst part was right at the end before the credits rolled.
