[/caption]I'm not big on politics and so it wasn't easy to understand certain issues presented in the beginning. Going into the movie with no knowledge of what it was about contributed to the slow grasp of going-ons too.But once the story became clear, I immediately realised it was about the not-so-distant history - about the misinformation of WMD present in the Middle East, then I was able to fully enjoy the movie.Sean Penn once again amazed me with his strong performance. Once again partnering up with Naomi Watts after more than five years, their chemisty was still strong. But I did notice how much Penn has aged in the partnership, probably because of the white streaks so present in his thick hair. And though Watts once again gave a solid performance and probably had more screen time, but I found Penn's character was more interesting as Penn was able to give him more depth.  It's always such a pleasure to see Penn in action. Seldom the characters he chooses for his movies are identical, there are bound to be differences even if it's just in the emotional level. And that's where he got me this time too.
