Wrath Of The Titans 3D (6/10)

From John Carter trying to be something it wasn't, to Wrath Of The Titans, one that knew exactly what it was and be what it was.

And with Clash Of The Titans still having a bad taste lingering in my mouth, I was very surprised and at least entertained coming out of this sequel. Also, the movie didn't disappoint from a very well put-together movie trailer.

The movie wasted not a lot of time in the beginning where Liam Neeson's Zeus came to meet up with Sam Worthington's Perseus. Immediately after, a Chimera showed up for whatever reason and the action ensued.

From there it was a non-stop action sequence after sequence. And this time the presence of Neeson and Ralph Fiennes fared better than the first movie, without having to introduce them as their characters.

Pegasus once again flew in out of nowhere and always when required. But then again, this is what the Titans franchise was all about. The writing was almost non-existence. The characters threw out absurd lines to move the story along. Nothing made sense as the plot was like a video game where something always lead to something else.

Not sure why Rosamund Pike took over Alexa Davalos as Andromeda but that made little difference as Andromeda didn't have much to do yet again. I noticed there have been many casting changes made as well, as Athena was no longer played by Izabella Miko and Apollo no longer played by Luke Evans too.

But the action was what the audience came for and they got it without the story being pretentious in any way.
