Moonrise Kingdom (6/10)

I'm not a big fan of Wes Anderson and saying that his offbeat style of direction requires an acquired taste is certainly an understatement. 

I was only somewhat entertained with Moonrise Kingdom. The script and the story was good, and with big names like Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman; the acting was bound to be very competent.

However, the overall tone I found was a bit too monotonous for my liking even though there were some very good humour. I would have also liked for the pacing to be a bit faster.
