10 Years (6/10)

Suddenly Channing Tatum is everywhere. I just managed to catch this, one of his smaller budget movies.

I liked how the story focused almost equal parts on all Tatum's character's friends. So they weren't just fodder to his story, but they actually added value to the movie as a whole.

Most of the storyline centred on the love stories between different characters and the one that stuck out most, or the one that stole the show, was Oscar Isaac and Kate Mara where their story culminated in a beautiful song. Not even Tatum and his love triangle could have topped this.

And that probably was an issue with the centre storyline, that it wasn't strong enough.

Lastly, I wished Justin Long would stop going for his go-to character, the awkward nerd. He needs to show more range, but it may already be too late to not be pigeon-holed.
