Upside Down (4/10)

There's a wonderful sci-fi concept here. A lot of great potential but unfortunately wasn't delivered or written well by director Juan Diego Solanas.

And in a science-fictional world that was dreamed up, if no careful attention was paid to the detail, then loop-holes will be plenty. And plenty were found here.

There were all these silly drama created and restricted to the characters that when you think about it, seemed very silly that why they didn't just do this or why they couldn't just do that. Plus, Jim Sturgess' character's friends were not fully written into the movie and hence lacked any conviction in their roles.

Furthermore, I thought Sturgess was not a good fit for this movie. I didn't believe his performance and the chemistry with Kirsten Dunst weren't great too.
