The Kite Runner (7/10)

Under the direction of Marc Foster, there were some very spectacular scenes in this movie. The back and forth between the present and the past, the whole direction, was great to watch.

There were just some parts that I thought was a little bit too slow with not much happening. They may not have added much to the entirety of the story. But those that did were great. 

I particularly enjoyed the scenes with the kite flying. The way the kites were shot flying through the sky were just brilliant by Foster.

I didn't particularly like some of the acting, especially by Khalid Abdalla. Not that it wasn't good, just that I wished it was much more emotionally charged.
