Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough were really good, considering they are dancers first and actors second. And I enjoyed Dennis Quaid in this one.
The dancing was great, the plot still great, Hough was super sexy. But there were some duds in the movie, like Patrick John Fleuger playing the typical fodder role as the guy who gets dumped. And the ending of the didn't kick up a storm at all.
My biggest beef with this version of Footloose was that it didn't really hit home a strong message when Wormald's character was doing the convincing in the hall. I would have liked to see some Disney formula in here that had a teaching moment.
