Last Vegas (8/10)

I was taken by surprise at how much I laughed out loud from the very beginning. And those funny moments were almost relentless created by the great chemistry shared between Robert DeNiro, Kevin Kline, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas.

I was afraid that this would be another plot that's similar to Grown Ups, about some old farts wanting to relive their youthful days again. But no, this was completely classy and genuinely funny.

Even Mary Steenburgen whom I have always somehow disliked, was great in this portrayal. And the other cast members, Jerry Ferrara and Romany Malco, were great additions to the otherwise already very funny main cast.

Once it hit the middle I thought it was going to dip, but it was so slight that it immediately picked up the pace again and hit a home run at the end with a great message to take home.

The writing and directing came together like a tag team and produced a great piece of entertainment. I didn't expect this to be good, but it was even better than good.
