Her (9/10)

One of Joaquin Phoenix's most "normal" role in a way, and yet, totally not normal.

The premise may seemed far fetched at first, but after watching the story unfolded, I totally cannot blame Phoenix's character for being totally satisfied with having a relationship with a computer. I could feel for him, his joy and his totally fulfilled relation of the mind and heart.

Spike Jonez is a forward thinker and a visionary. To be able to write something that was so futuristic and yet so plausible and possible, it's scary.

The only thing that I found wasn't done exceptionally well was the part about the surrogate. It didn't feel as plausible and possible, or felt too unrealistically smooth.

But other than that, the ending was the ending I had hoped for and so I fully agree with just about everything that Jonez wanted to convey.

Great performance once again by Phoenix and as well as Amy Adams in the co-starring role. Rooney Mara, Chris Pratt and Olivia Wilde didn't have too significant a role. But Kristen Wiig and Scarlett Johansson gave great vocal performances, with Wiig's one hilarious online conversation.
