The Five Year Engagement (8/10)

This was definitely one of the better romantic comedy I have seen lately. Fully entertaining with a slightly more different plot than most of the boy meet girl setup.

Probably because Jason Segel wrote it. And his chemistry with Emily Blunt was great too. This should be the second time the pair has partnered up as a romantic couple.

Chris Pratt was really funny in this one. He was gold with his comedic timing. Made me even more excited for him to finally play a leading role in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy.

Also, equally great was Alison Brie. I would like to see her play the lead next in a romantic comedy.

The pacing has mostly been very engaging except for one part in the middle where Segel's character got frostbitten, I thought that scene was unnecessary and took up too much time to set up.

Other than that, I was really entertained. And very moved with the finale. Great writing for the ending.
