Walk Of Shame (6/10)
I had no idea what this was until I was in Singapore, saw the names Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden and was immediately interested.
It had a slow start, not very funny to begin with. The premise of the movie was to have Banks kept falling into situations one after another.
Marsden didn't have that much to do but to look pretty, which he did and did well. Gillian Jacobs was the best friend and she was fun and funny to watch. Sarah Wright played the third friend but it's her usual dumb blond act. And for the first time I saw her limitations very clearly.
But as the story progressed, and with every incident that followed, I became more and more entertained. Suddenly everything seemed very plausible. It wasn't too over the top and it was believable. Pity it never got any funnier.
But the ending never reached a higher place. It almost stayed on the plateau. At least it was entertaining to a certain extent.
