Following the success of Wreck-It Ralph, Happy Madison Productions are doing their own take on reintroducing characters from big game titles like Donkey Kong and PAC-MAN.
Other game titles confirmed to have a feature are Q*Bert, Space Invaders, Frogger, Centipede and Galaga.
The movie will also star Adam Sandler (of course), Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan, Josh Gad and Brian Cox.
Pixels will be released on 15 May 2015 and is directed by Chris Columbus. Columbus has directed a couple of the Harry Potter films, the first Percy Jackson movie, and classics like Mrs. Doubtfire and Home Alone.
