Latest report is that Chris Hemsworth and Charlie Day are joining Ed Helms, who will be playing the grown up character of Rusty, and Christina Applegate playing Rusty's wife.
Chevy Chase is also said to be making a cameo.
The most interesting and biggest pull here obviously is Hemsworth. I haven't seen him do a comedy before so this should be as interesting. Hopefully it will turn out as well as when he did the horror movie, The Cabin In The Woods - although that movie in itself was a fantastic movie, not because it had anything to do with Hemsworth. But because Hemsworth made a very good decision to do that movie, I'm very interested to see his decision for doing this comedy.
New Line Productions will be releasing this sequel next year.
