I find this piece of news to be very interesting about The Cellar.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays a character that, after a car accident, wakes up in a cellar with John Goodman; who then tells her the outside world has ended from a nuclear attack. But as tension rises, she attempts to flee Goodman who may actually be her captor instead.
This sound so interesting that it could be something to really get excited about. It could be another Prisoners or Buried or even Cloverfield kind of movie and it really appeals to me. And with Goodman to play off of in a very serious role (if this is a comedy then I'm screwed), this could be a breakout role for Winstead after Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.
Under the banner of Bad Robot, directed by Dan Trachtenberg as his first full-length feature, and produced by J. J. Abrams; for sure there's going to be a surprise as to what lies outside the cellar's door. I can't wait to find out.
