Henry Cavill And Guy Ritchie's The Man From U. N. C. L. E. Delayed
Warner Bros. is releasing the adaption of The Man From U. N. C. L. E. which was originally broadcast on television from the mid to late 60's.
The series was about 2 secret agents working as spies for an espionage agency, U. N. C. L. E. - an acronym for United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, which the original creators of the series used it as a reference to Uncle Sam or the United Nations.
The movie adaptation was originally set to release on 16 January 2015, but has now shifted to 14 August 2015.
This could mean two things. 1) The producers can't get the movie out in time to meet the initial release dates due to reshoots or some post-production stuff.
2) It could be an indication of the producers having more confidence in the movie, and moved it from the dumping grounds of January - where all the bad movies come out right after the Oscar-calibre pictures are released at the end of the year - to the summer period of blockbusters.
The movie stars Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer as the two lead secret agents, and also in the mix are Hugh Grant and Jared Harris. The movie is also directed and written by Guy Ritchie.
