After last week's casting of Morgan Freeman as Ben-Hur's teacher in chariot-racing, two new names are now attached to the Timur Bekmambetov's classic remake.
First is Jack Huston securing the lead role of Judah Ben-Hur. Huston is coming off of the very successful, critically-acclaimed TV series Boardwalk Empire. I gave up watching this last season. Things were moving just too slow for me in the hour-long episodes. But Huston definitely was a stand-out playing a man with half a face.
Second is Toby Kebbell taking on the antagonist, Messala. Kebbell is known for playing the evil Koba in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. He will also be seen next in the reboot of The Fantastic Four, as well as Warcraft. His career is definitely on the right track.
