"Boston Strong" is a slogan created as a sign of strength and community togetherness after the tragic marathon bombing back in April of 2013.
Casey Affleck has signed on to produce and lead the movie, also titled Boston Strong. Scribes of The Fighter, Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy, are writing the adaptation from the upcoming book by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, which will focus on being an inspiration rather than the tragedy.
Anything to do with Boston, it won't come as a surprise that an Affleck or an Wahlberg is attached to it. It would be great if Donnie Wahlberg comes to star alongside Affleck on this.
Affleck's job right now is to get a studio to buy and fund the project.
