Joaquin Phoenix is back with another loony character in Inherent Vice. And this trailer looked hilariously awesome.
Also starring Josh Brolin, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Benecio del Toro, Jena Malone and Martin Short. This very cleverly cut trailer showcases the beat of the movie; from its era to the soundtrack, we can guess what kind of a style director Paul Thomas Anderson is going for - a departure from his recent and more serious work like The Master and There Will Be Blood, and back to sillier Boogie Nights.
Adapted from the novel by Thomas Pynchon, Inherent Vice will be released at the end of the year.
And Brolin had the funniest cut in this trailer with that Japanese restaurant scene.
