Oscar Isaac's stardom is on the rise. Having had a breakthrough performance in Inside Llewyn Davis and then securing a coveted role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it should come as no surprise that he's on every list of actors that directors would like to work with.
One of those directors happened to be Bryan Singer. And it has been reported that Singer has secured a deal with Isaac to play En Sabbah Nur, a.k.a. Apocalypse.
We first saw a young En Sabbah Nur at the stinger of X-Men: Days Of Future Past - before he became the X-Men's big bad Apocalpyse.
There's no doubt that this role will be mostly motion-capture on Isaac but you still need some gravitas from the actor to produce a credible CGI character - just like Andy Serkis' work on Gollum and Caesar.
