New Steve Jobs Movie Has Begun Shooting
After all the trouble Sony Pictures have gone through, one of the projects that they had to let go was the new Steve Jobs movie. Universal Pictures bought it over and production started almost immediately.
Replacing Christian Bale as Steve Jobs is Michael Fassbender. Taking on the role of Steve Wozniak is Seth Rogen. Other names attached include Jeff Daniels and Kate Winslet. On directing duties is still Danny Boyle.
It seems like the trouble at Sony did not affect the movie one bit because whether it was losing Leonardo DiCaprio or Bale as the starring role, the script by Aaron Sorkin still managed to attract A-list stars like Fassbender.
Also, David Fincher was first attached to direct the movie before being replaced by Boyle. Judging from the talents this movie is attracting, it's no wonder Universal now is also eyeing to release this during Oscar season.
This could be another The Social Network!
