I don't know if it's because of the Frankenstein concept or just a theory that didn't present itself well enough in the trailer; but with limited knowledge of the Lazarus experiment, this looks ridiculous and predictable.
I didn't like the trailer at all. Everything about it wasn't scary nor interesting. Olivia Wilde has not look more unappealing than in this trailer.
When she was brought back to life, I would have liked for her to be more psychologically scary rather than coming back with some telekinetic abilities.
And it seems like the trailer has given everything away already. We even see Donald Glover's character get executed.
This looks like any other lousy horror / slasher movie right now. But it could be good when it comes out though, let's wait and see.
Also starring Mark Duplass and Evan Peters, The Lazarus Effect will be out next month on 27 February.
