R. I. P. Leonard Nimoy

Even though I'm not a fan of Star Trek from its birth, I am still very much aware of what the franchise mean to so many people on this earth.

Whether you're a Trekkie or your heart belongs in Star Wars like me, it's sad to see an icon that has bring so much joy to the silver screen pass away.

And we have J. J. Abrams to thank too for working him into the new franchise, that's when I became a small fan of Star Trek.

But he's not just an accomplished actor, his work as a director were also very much celebrated by fans; directing some of the best Star Trek movies, as well as the classic comedy 3 Men And A Baby.

You will be missed in the next Star Trek movie. Live long and prosper, Leonard Nimoy.
