Another casting news was confirmed yesterday as Variety reported that Tommy Lee Jones has joined the cast of the next Bourne movie, the fifth installment of the franchise.
The movie will see Matt Damon reprising his iconic role and will not be a crossover with Jeremy Renner's version of the movie. Julia Stiles is also coming back, together with newcomer to the franchise, Alicia Vikander.
Paul Greengrass is also back on directing duty.
Jones is rumoured to play a superior officer with the CIA, harkens back to his Academy Award winning performance in The Fugitive.
I've always liked Jones and he is good in this kind of roles so this is a plus for the movie, which will begin production soon for a release date of 29 July 2016.
