Could John Boyega become the next big household name? It all depends on this December's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
But, according to Deadline with Boyega on his way to landing a leading role, opposite Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, it's hard not to speculate that way.
The Circle, produced by Hanks' Playtone, is written and directed by James Ponsoldt off the novel with the same name by Dave Egger.
The novel dives into the perils of life in the digital age where personal data is collected and monetized, not to mention used as surveillance resulting in personal privacy becoming obsolete.
Production will begin next month for a 2016 release.
