Ryan Reynolds To Star In Truth In Advertising

Ryan Reynolds is in final negotiations with The Solution Entertainment Group to headline their upcoming project, Truth In Advertising.

The movie is about a character named Fin Doland (Reynolds) who has to cancel Christmas vacation plans to work on an advertisement campaign for his company. He begins to wonder why everyone else's life is moving forward except his own.

The movie is said to be a drama-comedy and will be directed by Roger Michell who is best known for directing Notting Hill and Changing Lanes - both of which I really enjoyed.

Just by seeing the title of this movie alone, it reminds me of Thank You For Smoking, and if it's in a similar vein with Michell directing, I think Reynolds can be perfect for this role. So I really like this piece of news.

The only worry here is that the script is adapted by the writer of the novel himself, John Kenney, who has never written a screenplay for a movie before.

The movie is set to shoot middle of 2016 with no official release date yet.
