With the success of The Visit, and many critics calling it his comeback movie, M. Night Shyamalan will continue his working relationship with Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures on his next project, titled Split.
The movie already has a great lead in James McAvoy, and also stars Betty Buckley whom Shyamalan has collaborated with in The Happening.
It was announced yesterday that the release date for Split will be 20 January 2017. And if the end-result is anything like The Visit, Shyamalan will own that month of January seeing as how it's usually the dead zone for movies in Hollywood.
