Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 First Trailer

It's here. The first trailer to the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this time with the subtitle Out Of The Shadows because, you guessed it and the trailer revealed it - they are no longer hiding in the sewers but fighting crime in broad daylight.

This trailer showed everyone involved in the movie, including all the newcomers - Sheamus, Gary Anthony Williams, Stephen Amell, Brittany Ishibashi, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee and, surprisingly, Laura Linney in this big budgeted genre movie.

Perry was the one that stood out for me. I thought his portrayal of Baxter Stockman quite resembles the original cartoon version. If he does well, it'll be two for two outside of his usual shtick of playing Madea.

The main cast are back to reprising their roles - Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michaelangelo, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Will Arnett, William Fichtner and Megan Fox. Tony Shalhoub and Johnny Knoxville are also back to voice Splinter and Leonardo respectively.

With a new director onboard, I'm hoping the Earth To Echo director Dave Green can seriously improve on the storytelling part of this second movie because that was one of the weakest parts of the first one.

And just from this trailer alone, I see a lot of improvements already. So let's hope it is actually better once the movie comes out on 3 June 2016.
