As if the wait isn't long enough, the only thing director and creator of Avatar, James Cameron, can do now is to keep teasing the audience with any news he can to keep audiences interested.
During 20th Century Fox presentation at CinemaCon, Cameron announced that there will be four sequels in the works now and not just three.
All movies will have individual narratives but will "form a complete saga" together.
The first sequel will be out during Christmas of 2018, with each subsequent Christmas season releasing a new sequel up until 2023!
