Kate Beckinsale is back in black leather tights and the franchise that made her famous. Not that anyone has been clamouring for another one of these movies.
The next Underworld movie will be the fifth, and Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment have officially announced its title: Underworld Blood Wars.
Beckinsale will be joined by the familiar faces across the franchise, including Theo James from The Divergent Series.
The newest installment is directed by Anna Foerster and will be out on 14 October 2016. I'm surprised that we're only getting the title now and not much earlier. But like I said, no one has been clamouring for another one of these movies. So it's a wise move to just make the title announcement as part of the marketing push leading up to its release.
