Based on the crime novel by Jo Nesbo, Denis Villeneuve is directing the film adaptation of The Son and is re-teaming up with Jake Gyllenhaal, according to ComingSoon.net.
The pair collaborated twice already with Prisoners and Enemy. I loved Prisoners, and thought Gyllenhaal was brilliantly directed; and have yet to watch Enemy but it's in my queue list.
I don't care what the movie is going to be about, as long as it's these two creating it, I'm all in. Then again, I would watch anything by Villeneuve.
The movie should be out in 2018 because Villeneuve has the Blade Runner sequel scheduled for 2017.
