Lionsgate has released the first full trailer to the upcoming real-life tragedy event, Deepwater Horizon.
It's unmistakable that this is a Peter Berg directed movie with that soft background music, it's in every movie of his. And once again working with Mark Wahlberg, who he knows how to direct.
But as can be seen from the trailer, this movie boasts a great deal of talent as well with John Malkovich, Dylan O'Brien, Kurt Russell, Gina Rodriguez and Kate Hudson.
Everything about this trailer looks great, from the setup to the turn of events. But the trailer ends with a shot of Wahlberg's back jumping off a point in the oil rig - a shot used in many movie trailers as one of its end shot. The last one I saw this was in Warcraft. Have we not evolved from this by now?
Also attached below are some character posters, drenched in oil. But isn't it a little early to be releasing such posters as the movie will only be out on 30 September 2016?
