Lionsgate has just released a teaser trailer that features the vocals of Emma Stone in her upcoming musical, La La Land.
Not that her vocals are anything spectacular but perhaps in the context of the actual movie she could be just as perfect as Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor were in Moulin Rouge.
I still have no idea what the story is about, but judging from the poster and the brief moment of Ryan Gosling playing the piano, and Stone's song title being Audition, I would take an educated guess that Stone is auditioning for Gosling and of course they fall in love.
Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, whose last movie Whiplash has garnered him a nomination in the Academy Awards; the movie also stars Academy Award winner from Whiplash, J.K. Simmons.
The movie will be out on 16 December 2016, and will be in direct competition with the behemoth that is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
