Relativity Studios has released the first trailer to their upcoming thriller, Kidnap, starring Halle Berry.
This whole premise to me has a similar feel to The Call, the last movie that Berry headlined. I feel that it's a pity such a talent like Berry isn't getting more roles or in bigger movies.
From this first trailer, Kidnap seems like another smaller movie with some budget for explosions. Like The Call again, it involves car chase scenes and culminate with Berry going toe-to-toe with whoever the antagonist is.
The appeal for this movie just isn't strong enough and Berry's name doesn't sell the movie anymore. Let's see if I'm wrong when the movie opens on 2 December 2016.
