Walt Disney Pictures' another live-action adaptation of their classical intellectual property, The Nutcracker, continues to grow its cast.
Variety today has reported that Keira Knightley has joined the cast and will be playing Sugar Plum Fairy in the upcoming The Nutcracker And The Four Realms.
Mackenzie Foy is set to play Clara, Morgan Freeman is set to play Drosselmeyer, and American Ballet Theatre dancer Misty Copeland as the lead ballerina in the film's dance sequences. Does this mean she will not have any acting role?
Lasse Halstrom will direct the movie from a script by Ashleigh Powell. No release date is set yet.
