It's Groundhog Day, but darker and more emo. That's my first impression of Before I Fall's first trailer released by Open Road and Awesomeness Films.
Starring Zoey Deutch, the trailer looks like a shortened version of the actual movie itself; in the sense that it would take the first two acts for Deutch's character to realise she has to do something different (just like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day) before she can get out of the loop.
And it will be up to the final act to see if all these would pay off. The poster however, is a nice piece of art for the movie.
Directed by Ry Russo-Young, from the young adult novel by Lauren Oliver; the movie will be out on 3 March 2017.
