Walt Disney Pictures' next live-action movie will be Mulan and we finally get a confirmation for the director.
According to
The Hollywood Reporter, Niki Caro of McFarland, USA has been tasked to helm the movie, while Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon producer Bill Kong will be executive producer.
Caro is now the second female director in the history of Hollywood to be given a movie budget that is over USD 100 million. Ava DuVernay is the first one for A Wrinkle In Time.
Both movies are scheduled to be out in 2018.
