Matt Reeves Back To Direct DC's The Batman, Again...?

This is just crazy. So much drama coming out of the DC camp. It was on, then it was off, and now it is on again.

According to ComingSoon, Warner Bros. Pictures has released an official statement from its President and Chief Content Officer Toby Emmerich that Matt Reeves has indeed signed on to direct The Batman.

Apparently just days ago the negotiations had broken down between the studio and the director, and I suppose they have finally agreed on something. I am guessing the studio relented to Reeves demand because, honestly, they need him more than he needs them.

To me, at this very stage, this is the best thing for the fans because we are getting a very competent director and he is calling the shots; not the studios. There is a better chance that what happened to the previous two movies would not happen again in this one. Well, here's hoping anyway.

And hopefully, this director will be sticking around until the movie is completely made. Let's now see when the release date will be for The Batman.
