A great cast that gave great performances, especially from Tommy Lee Jones, Chris Cooper and Ben Affleck; with Maria Bello, Kevin Costner and Rosemarie DeWitt in great supporting roles.
The movie gave a kind of a real view on what Americans had to go through, the losses and the rediscovering of self. The bad and the worst were all represented onscreen and having something relatable and true will always be good for the soul.
Wells works well with this kind of material. His work after this was August: Osage County, and that was also an ensemble piece with great acting.
