A new character poster has been released by Netflix for the upcoming Death Note remake, and it features the character L played by Lakeith Stanfield.
The marketing for the movie so far has been lackluster and this new character poster shows another weak attempt from its marketing department.
Why only release one character poster when you can release all at the same time and make a bigger splash; seeing also that the movie will be out in a little over a month. If it is a big studio behind the movie, there would have been a lot more posters out already by now. What's more, this poster looks horrible and uninspired.
I'm afraid this movie will be flying a lot under the radar - a pity because it has such a following for its source material.
Directed by Adam Wingard, Death Note will be out on 25 August 2017.
