Screen Gems has released the teaser trailer and poster for the upcoming horror Slender Man.
Starring Joey King and based on the internet phenomenon that I am unaware of, but it was about two teenage girls in Wisconsin luring one of their friends into the woods and stabbing her 19 times just to satisfy Slender Man, a fictitious character that is also known as the "creepypasta" meme.
But this trailer with a running time of more than two minutes assumes that we already know that and gave no indication what the story would be, just some scary images hoping to sell the movie that way.
This is not a good trailer and does nothing to interest me. Directed by Sylvain White, the movie will be out on 18 May 2018.
