The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew have been trying to get off the ground for the longest time and at least one of them is having some movement in the production front.
According to Deadline, IT star Sophia Lillis is looking to star as the titular character in Nancy Drew And The Hidden Staircase.
The project is adapted from the book series "Nancy Drew", with the character created by publisher Edward Stratemeyer. The series of books were all written by ghost writers back in the 1930's and were published under the pen name Carolyn Keene.
No director or writer has been confirmed at this point so not sure when this project is expected to be released
