According to /Film, the re-release of Deadpool 2 will not be as simple as removing the R-rated stuff; but there will be whole new scenes and they have already been shot two months ago with Ryan Reynolds.
The directors Reese and Wernick said in the interview that while the story of Deadpool 2 will not be changed, the new scenes are aimed to "have fun with the existing story, not to modify it".
They are also keeping mum about who else were involved with the filming. So far we have only seen a picture of Deadpool reading a bedtime story to Fred Savage, who is reprising his role from The Princess Bride.
