[Review] Run (7/10)

Title - Run
Studio - Lionsgate
Starring - Sarah Paulson, Kiera Allen, Sara Sohn
Writer - Aneesh Chaganty, Sev Ohanian
Director - Aneesh Chaganty
Release - 8 May 2020

Brought to us by Aneesh Chaganty and Sev Ohanian, the same duo that gave us Searching (I wish the marketing department had done a better job at shouting out this fact), Run shares the same intensity as its predecessor, though with less mystery.

I say "less mystery" because I solved said mystery even before the title screen came on - not that I'm proud of it, just disappointed that the movie wasn't more mysterious.

Having said that, however, it was still a great watch. Part of the fun was watching Kiera Allen discovering the mystery and trying to escape, on her wheelchair. And the other part of the fun, watching the great Sarah Paulson getting enraged.

I will say though, that ending was quite unnecessary; for a number of implausible scenarios. But for a period where movies are scarce, I'm really glad I got to watch this in the cinema.
