This has to be the Russo Brothers' best movie they have produced thus far. And I wonder why I didn't watch this when it came out... Oh I know, because I didn't like Extraction.

But Mosul was this little actioner set in Iraq that had a lot of things going for it. One of them, definitely was the action. You don't see a lot of mistakes made by the heroes in other movies but here, they were eye-opening, and more realistic.

And the other one, when we got to the end of the movie and found out what their mission was, that was really good. And throughout we got to see the character development of the young recruit, played very well by Adam Bessa.

Suhail Dabbach also was a force to be reckoned with in his performance as he was the anchor of the team, and the anchor onscreen for the audience.
