[Review] Honest Thief (3.5/10)

Title - Honest Thief
Studio - Argonaut Entertainment Partners, Dreadnought Films
Starring - Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh, Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan, Anthony Ramos, Robert Patrick
Writer - Steve Allrich, Mark Williams
Director - Mark Williams
Release - 16 October 2020

This was a very weak movie. It started cheesy like it was back in the 90's, and a very unconvincing encounter (and progression) between Liam Neeson and Kate Walsh.

As the story unfolded, there were plot point after plot point that had very thin logic and will leave you screaming in your head "why do this and not that"?

If anything, Jai Courtney made a convincing antagonist. The irony was that 10 years ago Hollywood pushed him into the forefront as the new action movie star, and if James Gunn didn't keep him for The Suicide Squad, he's only left with playing bad guys in B-movies.

What the movie had going on for it was a strong cast. There's Jeffrey Donovan, Anthony Ramos and Robert Patrick. But the script just wasn't enough.
